Polly Carpenter
Founder and President
Polly is artist by training; she is an alum of RISD and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Not deterred by the art world’s economic downturn in the early 80’s, Polly saw opportunity in financial services, an industry just starting to mass market and package products, and her namesake, Carpenter Group, was born. From the frantic days of limited partnerships, to the onset of the mutual fund business, to the development of 401(k)s and ETFs — she’s seen it all, including bounced checks from Dick Fuld! For more than 30 years, Polly’s been the creative force driving the launch of many of the best known financial services brands, leading to billions in assets raised.
