Brand strategy shows the qualitative side of a quantitative asset manager
PanAgora Asset Management’s messaging and dated visual style didn’t reflect its position as a true investment innovator. In particular, its website and collateral felt disjointed, impeding growth and ceding market- and mindshare to competitors. PanAgora sought to update its brand identity and non-responsive website to reflect its standing in the institutional community as an intellectual powerhouse.
PanAgora’s unique investment approach combined quantitative technique with fundamental research to encompass a wide array of inputs and observations. We found this approach in keeping with the firm’s history of pushing the industry into new territory, exploring many avenues of potential and breaking ground on theories that last. From a creative standpoint this was our inspiration.
A new brand platform captured in the tagline “Evolutionary Quantitative Investing” conveyed PanAgora’s competitive advantage in a crowded market. The full launch included positioning, messaging, a new visual identity and logo, social media tools, a sales enablement kit and a responsive, contemporary website.
