We mentioned in our previous post a key finding from the Women in Fintech Survey by LendIt—another fact that caught our eye was that 16% of fintech companies reported a female founder or co-founder. It grabbed our attention because, in our experience, this number seems inflated, which is likely due to the selection of polled participants. While the pool might be small, we’ve been fortunate enough to host quite a few female fintech innovators on the ‘Bank on It’ podcast, recorded at the Carpenter Group Studio.
